Overview
The User Consent section is where you will determine what levels of consent will be applied to either Global or per environment. If different settings are required for each environment environment override will be toggled on.
User Consent
Environment Override isn't needed if Global is being used. If different settings are required for environments, you'll want to select the environment at the top and toggle this on toggle_on.
Consent Enforcement
- Include Privacy Banner: Toggle this on toggle_on to have a notice display that this website uses cookies.
- Allow All: A button is added to opt-in and Allow All consent categories.
- Deny All: A button is added to opt-out and Deny All consent categories.
- Preferences: A button is added to open the modal to adjust cookie consent preferences.
- Dismiss: When enabled, a button is added to Dismiss the banner. Default consent will be chosen.
- Privacy Banner Customization: Allows you to leverage built-in customization options for the Privacy Banner.
- Include Consent Modal: Toggle this on toggle_on to have a modal display with consent categories that end-users can enable or disable.
- Auto Show: This can only be toggled on or off if Privacy Banner is disabled and Consent Modal is enabled.
- Consent Widget: Toggle this on toggle_on if you would like to have an option for users to open the privacy modal after they set their cookies preferences.
- Save: A button is added to save any consent preference updates.
- Allow All: A button is added to opt-in and Allow All consent categories.
- Deny All: A button is added to opt-out and Deny All consent categories.
- Cancel: A button is added that closes the modal, functions like dismiss.
- Consent Modal Customization: Allows you to leverage built-in customization options for the Consent Modal.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): When enabled your gateway will honor GPC signals sent from the browser and automatically opt-out of all categories.
- Google Consent Mode: When enabled you will be able to associate your consent categories with Google Consent Mode Types. For GCM setup, check this guide.
- Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Compliance: When toggled on toggle_on you will be able to include modals to request that data will not be included for purposes of selling.
- Show Do Not Sell Modal: If toggled on toggle_on a do not sell modal will be displayed within the existing consent modal.
- Auto Opt Out Of All Categories: If toggled on toggle_on all consent categories will automatically opt-out if a user submits a do not sell request.
- Include Delete Data Modal: If toggled on toggle_on a delete data modal will be displayed within the existing consent modal.
- Enable Request Data Modal: If toggled on toggle_on a request data modal will be displayed within the existing consent modal.
- Show Request Data Link On Consent Modal: Only able to be toggled when Request Data Modal is enabled.
- Show Do Not Sell Modal: If toggled on toggle_on a do not sell modal will be displayed within the existing consent modal.
- IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework: When enabled vendors that participate in the IAB will be able to determine whether consent has been given for their tag and/or purpose.
- Enable Legitimate Interests: If toggled on toggle_on TCF enforcement will include Legitimate Interests. Information for legitimate interests can be found here: Legitimate interest and consent.
User Opt-in/Opt-out Categories
- This is for organizing the way consent categories will be displayed in the consent modal.
Default Opt-In Values
- You can set the default opt-in values for consent categories per environment.
- You can also set a default environment in an instance where a website doesn't meet any conditions but has the bootstrap deployed attached to the enforcement gateway.
- Once settings are finalized, click SAVE.
